Civilian covert actions group designed to hunt down human traffickers, predators, & non-compliant sex offenders
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Gavin McCune founded the Ground Coordination Intelligence Service in November of 2022 as a investigative intelligence and analytic investigative research group to investigate leads of criminal violence committed against individuals who took a survey that was given to students following speeches regarding things such as gang violence, sexual abuse, bullying, mental health, and many other topics at schools around the United States.
Over the past couple of years Gavin evolved GCIS into what it is today through his determination and commitment to protect youth and augment investigative efforts against criminal enterprises revolved around human trafficking, child exploitation, and other similar transnational crimes.
He also founded a group called the Department of Unity on February 5, 2017. Gavin originally started it as a way to help youth cope with the trauma and struggles of being bullied and dealing with mental health issues. Prior to creating the Department of Unity, Gavin started this as a motivational speaker out of Riverside County, CA.
While in high school he established the Security Forces Team in the Military Explorers of the Inland Empire, where he served as the leader for more than a year. Gavin later became an Officer Candidate in the Military Explorers Program; his dream and goal was to become the Battalion Commander within the program. However, he was unfortunately incapable of achieving this goal as Gavin’s family relocated to Neenah, Wisconsin before his official completion of C/OCS (Cadet Officer Candidate School). He later moved away from Neenah, Wisconsin to his fathers house in Reno, Nevada, where he would begin a path to success. Upon arriving to his dads he assisted the Sparks Police Department in growing and bringing back their explorer program after the events of COVID-19 which shut everything down in 2020.
In middle school through high school he was super involved in his church (Grace Church Reno), where he served on the Production Team. Gavin also continued to serve as a leader at both Police Explorers and within his Marine Corps Delayed Entry Poolee Program (DEP), he planned to graduate in December of 2022 so that he could ship out to Marine Corps Boot Camp about six months early.
Currently, Gavin has officially graduated high school (December 22, 2022), and is currently an infantry Marine attached to the Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team Company in Virginia.
